Full Time: Day Shift
Summary: Provide routine cleaning for the Surgical Services Department to include: Pre-Op ,PACU, Or rooms, anesthesia work room, common rooms where equipment is stored, sterile inner core ,wire racks in sterile inner core mop and dust all floors and flat surfaces, clean/mop both male/female dressing areas. This is under supervision of surgery charge nurse.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Has ability to move quickly when called to help out in operating rooms, Pre-Op and PACU
Ability to lift 50 lbs of instrument trays
Ability to move carts from one area to another area.
Ability to move surgical beds and stretchers from area to another area.
Maintain good posture when moving or lifting objects
TYPICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT: Potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood or blood products.
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
2. Former Hospital experience preferred
