About Rachel Warapius, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Rachel Warapius, family nurse practitioner, was born in Texas and has lived in Waco, Texas for most of her life. She graduated from Midway High School.

Rachel completed McLennan Community College’s RN program prior to earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Rachel has nursing experience caring for patients across the lifespan. She has worked as a nurse in maternal and newborn, level III neonatal intensive care, and medical/surgical units. Prior to becoming a nurse, Rachel worked as a certified nurse aide on a stroke and neurology hospital unit and was a nurse tech in labor and delivery.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, sons, and dog. She loves having adventures with her family. She likes being outdoors, camping, and traveling. She is a lifelong athlete and enjoys running and triathlons.

Rachel has a special interest in sports medicine and orthopedics. She is accepting new orthopedic patients at Coryell Health Medical Clinic Gatesville and Waco locations. She also sees patients in the hospital and family medicine clinic. Rachel is excited to collaborate with her patients to help them achieve better health and wellness.
