About Nilofar Syed, MD
Dr. Nilofar Syed is a board certified rheumatologist who earned her Doctor of Medicine at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and received advanced training through the Cleveland Clinic’s fellowship program in rheumatology.
Dr. Syed served as an assistant professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 2014 to 2024 and has actively participated in patient care and education of medical students, residents and fellows. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology and is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR).
