Orthopedics is the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention and correction of injuries or disorders of the skeletal system and associated muscles, joints, and ligaments. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, spine diseases, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders.
Coryell Health Orthopedics offers convenient, expert care in orthopedics and sports medicine. No longer do you need to drive out of town to get quality orthopedic care.
Board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jacob Battle, works with people of all ages and abilities to develop individualized and comprehensive treatment programs – from injury prevention and evaluation to orthopedic surgery and post-injury rehabilitation.
Dr. Battle treats multiple types of sports and normal life injuries including fractures, ACL injuries, meniscus tears, rotator cuff tears, and labral tears. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery and joint reconstruction of the shoulder and the knee.
Orthopedic surgeons and the medical staff at Coryell Health are excited to offer an orthopedic robotic knee system, which brings together robotic technology with industry-leading knee implants to help surgeons personalize surgical procedures for their patients.
