About Vanessa English, DPM, FACFAS, DABPM
Dr. English is board certified in both Foot Surgery and Podiatric Medicine, with advanced training and credentials in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle (RRA) Surgery. She completed her surgical residency at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in New York, where she served as Chief Resident, and holds certifications in arthroscopy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and advanced wound care.
With extensive experience in diabetic foot care, Dr. English specializes in ulcer care and biologic dressings, debridement, skin grafts, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) treatment. As part of her wound care expertise, she supervises HBO therapy dives and is certified by Restorix Health. Dr. English also brings specialized training through the Bako Dermatopathology Fellowship and AAFAO Advanced Certification.
In addition to treating a full range of foot and ankle conditions—both surgically and non-surgically—Dr. English is also experienced in minimally invasive procedures, trauma repair, and joint arthroscopy. She understands foot pain firsthand, having been born with a foot deformity that was corrected in early childhood, and uses this experience to bring compassion and understanding to every patient she treats.
Dr. English was born in Orange, California, and raised in San Francisco’s East Bay. She now calls Texas home, having moved to be closer to family. Outside the clinic, she and her husband enjoy hiking and playing tennis in their free time.
