As COVID-19 arrives in our region, we want to remind you that Coryell Health is here for you today, as we have been for 80 years. We will update the resources below as new information becomes available.
Don’t let chronic conditions get out of hand or small things become big things
Coryell Health has aggressively expanded testing access, ensuring the community returns to normal safely. Testing at no additional cost will continue for those in identified potential “hot spots”. This list includes healthcare professionals, Texas Department of Criminal Justice employees, cosmetologists, and other businesses with frequent, continuous direct contact with the general public. Identifying asymptomatic carriers and isolating positive patients will help slow the spread of the virus. As a community healthcare organization, Coryell Health is committed to provide our community’s health care needs, now and after the pandemic.
“As a community healthcare organization, Coryell Health is committed to provide our communities health, now and after the pandemic. We’re eager to return to normal operations,” said David Byrom, Coryell Health CEO. “We’ve built a health system that’s designed to care for this community — and our community’s needs persist.”
“Limiting the spread of the virus is a top priority,” adds Byrom. “In the meantime, many of our services are continuing, and patients are receiving access to the medical care to which they’ve grown accustomed to receiving.”
“I’m extremely proud of how our organization has risen to this challenge. Our business has been severely disrupted and we’re facing some unprecedented obstacles, but we have responded well. I’m confident in our team’s willingness to fulfill our mission to serve our communities.”
Byrom is grateful for everyone and their commitment to community health.
