At Coryell Health, we treat all wounds and specialize in those that have become difficult to heal. Our comprehensive center utilizes both traditional and advanced therapies to help patients heal quickly and fully. Our physicians provide care to the patient as a whole, and each patient is assigned a case manager to assist with handling their individual care. Also, in order to strengthen the continuum of care for our patients, the referring provider remains an active member of our team.
The Advanced Wound Care Center treats wounds including, but not limited to:
- Arterial Ulcers
- Burns
- Cellular and tissue based products
- Diabetic Ulcers
- Infected or Non-Healing Wounds
- Pressure Ulcers
- Surgical Wounds
- Traumatic Wounds
- Venous Stasis Ulcers
Our center offers the most up-to-date wound care therapies including hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy, debridement, compression therapy, specialty dressings, and off-loading. Learn more about HBO therapy below.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy is a treatment in which the patient breathes 100% pure oxygen while inside a pressurized chamber. Learn what to expect when receiving HBO treatment in the video below.
