About Tony Podbielski, FNP-C

Tony Podbielski, board certified family nurse practitioner, born and raised in Gatesville, TX, was delivered at Coryell Memorial Hospital. Drawn to the medical industry right out of high school, Tony worked as a certified nurse aide, certified medication aide, and staffing coordinator/CNA supervisor in a Waco, TX, nursing home. Continuing his education, Tony attended McLennan Community College earning his associate’s degree in nursing. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Tony received his master’s degree in nursing from from University of Texas – Arlington.

Tony began his family practitioner nursing career working in ICU during the COVID-19 surge in hospitals in Gatesville and Waco. He now is full time seeing family medicine patients at Coryell Health Medical Clinic.

After nearly 20 years in the healthcare profession, Tony’s empathetic nature remains a driving force. Goals for his patients are for them to feel heard and be in control of their care, as well as to establish preventative care measures.

Married to a fellow nurse, Tony and his wife live in Central Texas and love to travel.
