About Brian Walton, MD
Dr. Brian Walton, MD is an interventional cardiologist with 20 years of practice experience in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and vascular medicine. He spent the first decade of his clinical cardiology practice in Houston Texas, and most recently in Jackson, Mississippi. He has served as the Associate Editor of the Texas Heart Institute (THI) Journal and as the Director of Cardiovascular Imaging and Experimental Therapeutics at THI. He is an accomplished researcher with prior appointments at The Methodist Hospital, and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He has also served as the Director of Cardiovascular Research for Merit Health in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Walton practices as an experienced interventionist with coronary, peripheral, and venous procedures, and pacemakers.
