About Kristin Hill, APRN FNP-C RNFA

Kristin Hill, APRN FNP-C RNFA, family nurse practitioner and first surgical assistant, specializes in orthopedics and sports medicine. With over ten years of practice, Kristin has gained extensive experience in trauma, spine, total joint replacement, and arthroscopic reconstruction. Her diverse experience includes a year of specialty certificate training in orthopedics from Duke University in 2021 and surgical first assist training in 2017. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2015. Prior to her surgical assistant training, Kristin worked as a floor and charge nurse for over 20 years in various hospital-based nursing roles, including the ER, ICU, float pool, and cardiac rehab. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 1994 and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Baylor in 1992. Her achievements further demonstrate Kristin’s lifetime dedication to health and wellness as an All-American at Baylor in Track and Field and a 4-Year Letter Winner in Track and Field and Cross Country.

Kristin’s diverse experience and compassionate care are evident in her dedication to her profession. Her commitment is apparent in her attention to detail, empathy, and the time she invests in understanding and addressing the needs of each patient.

Kristin provides care for Coryell Health’s Saturday Sports Injury Clinic

Catering to all student-athletes who have sustained injuries during the week, Kristin provides care at the Coryell Health Saturday Sports Injury Clinic. The clinic’s goal is to provide prompt access to an orthopedic specialist during the designated sports clinic hours without needing a prior appointment.

Kristin is married with three grown children. She enjoys running, track and field officiating, traveling and drawing in her spare time.

Kristin is bilingual in Spanish.
