About Amy Stewart, FNP-C

Amy Stewart, a family nurse practitioner (FNP), was raised in rural Texas for most of her childhood until her family moved briefly to Hatch, New Mexico. She quickly returned to the lone star state after graduating high school.

Amy completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Abilene Christian University before earning her Master’s in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Lubbock Christian University. Amy worked for ten years, gaining nursing experience in the emergency department, trauma, surgical, and burn intensive care. She has FNP experience in emergency medicine, family medicine, and urgent care.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors with her family of three children. Together, they love to be outside, raise registered beefmaster cattle, and visit both sides of their family in Comanche. She is passionate about raising kids, staying involved in their local church, and meeting new friends in the community.

Amy focuses on providing friendly and quality care in the Quick Care and family medicine setting at Coryell Health.
