Dr. Colby Cessnun, MD, is a board certified family medicine physician at Coryell Health Medical Clinic in McGregor, Texas. His professional journey in medicine began at Texas A&M University, where he earned his undergraduate degree. He then pursued his medical education at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas, followed by a family medicine residency in Waco, Texas.

Dr. Cessnun’s dedication to patient care has a global dimension. He and his family spent over seven years in Uganda, East Africa, serving as medical missionaries. This transformative experience underscored their commitment to improving healthcare in underserved communities and demonstrated their passion for service.

Leading a lively and fulfilling family life, Dr. Cessnun and his wife are proud parents of eleven children. Together, they enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including camping, gardening, fishing, and trips to the beach. Dr. Cessnun’s family joined him during his service in Uganda. These shared experiences reflect their deep family bond.

In his practice, Dr. Cessnun strives to embody the love of Christ through compassionate care.
