About Rhonda Mangum, APRN, FNP-BC

Rhonda Mangum was born on an Air Force base in New York and raised moving with her family to different military bases. She has always claimed Texas as home due to regular family visits to Grandma’s house north of Denton. After graduating high school, she joined the US Army serving in the dental field.

Rhonda attended Central Texas College obtaining her associates degree in nursing becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). She continued her education at the University of Texas at Arlington, obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Nursing through the RN to BSN program. Rhonda later received her master’s degree, specializing as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

Rhonda’s experience includes time in neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, postpartum, a troop medical clinic, pediatric home health, emergency medicine, and an intensive care unit with three of those years at Coryell Health.

Rhonda enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and granddaughter. She met her husband, Bryan, when she stationed at Fort Hood Military Base. When she has spare time, she crochets blankets, scarves, and hats.
