Family Medicine
At Coryell Health, our family medicine’s cornerstone is an ongoing, personal, patient-physician relationship focused on integrated care. Our physicians focus on caring for the entire person, the entire family. Unlike other specialties that are limited to a particular organ or disease, our family medicine team integrates care for patients of all genders at every stage of life.
Internal Medicine
Our internal medicine team’s primary responsibilities include providing long-term, comprehensive care for our patients and their families. Our physicians work with patients on health maintenance and disease screening, the diagnosis and care of acute and chronic medical conditions, management of patients with multiple, complex medical problems, and serving as consultants to other disciplines such as surgery, obstetrics, and family medicine.
Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
At Coryell Health, our primary care physicians work alongside mid-level care providers, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, to help take care of their patients. Our midlevel care team is trained to manage patient care under the supervision of a physician, licensed to provide care, as well as trained to order diagnostic tests and / or prescribe medications.
